Donation Information

Oxford Cemetery asks you to consider a gift to ensure that the beauty and peace of the resting place of so many loved ones and friends can be well maintained. Because the cemetery is a non-profit, we rely heavily on donations to maintain and enhance the cemetery. Over the past few years private gifts have enabled the Oxford Cemetery Association to add beautiful gates at the cemetery entrance, restore the chapel at the center of the grounds, and develop the new columbarium within the chapel. Information is now available from Terry Roberts, cemetery manager, on the availability of niches within the chapel.

In addition, private support is much needed to augment annual operating funds to maintain the grounds throughout the year. The cemetery is the final resting place for over 6,000 people, and the staff and volunteers work hard to stretch the cemetery assets as much as possible to maintain the 55 acres of grounds, 13 still yet to be developed, in the most caring, respectful manner possible. Your generous donation would help significantly to preserve our historic 1855 cemetery. Remember, your contribution, made payable to the Oxford Cemetery Association, is tax deductible.

For more information on how to make a donation, please reach us at the information available on our contact us page. You may also wish to consider a planned gift to the perpetual care endowment fund through your will or from other assets. Please contact any member of the Oxford Cemetery Association Board or your personal attorney for additional information on how to make a planned gift.

We are most grateful for your continuing support.
