has transfer to the City of Oxford Ohio

After much discussion, The Oxford Cemetery Association has determined that it is not feasible to continue operating the Oxford Cemetery as a private association.

The nonprofit association, The Oxford Cemetery Association, will soon cease to exist. In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code, the City of Oxford is assuming responsibility for ownership, operation and maintenance of the cemetery.

We are in the process of completing the transition and expect a smooth transition.

All deeds will continue to be in effect and will be honored by the city.

The "Contact Us" page has been updated with the new contact information.

The Oxford Cemetery Association is not able to answer your questions or provide support at this time.

The phone number and PO box are no longer valid ways to contact the cemetery.

Because of the transition, The Oxford Cemetery Association is no longer able to accept private contributions for the cemetery.

If you are among the many generous donors who have supported the cemetery over the years, we offer our heartfelt gratitude for all you’ve done. Private contributions have allowed the cemetery to remain well-maintained and provide peaceful reflection for so many for almost 170 years.
